Calgary, AB – The Red Deer Polytechnic Kings earned a hard fought point against the first place team in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Men's Soccer South Division, showing they will be a team to watch in the second half of the season.

When it looked like the game between the Kings and SAIT Trojans would end up scoreless, both teams traded tallies in the final three minutes, playing to a 1-1 draw at Cohos Commons Field.

In the 87th minute, Red Deer's Ajdin Sarcevic received a pass from Eduardo Crespo and quickly released the ball past Trojans goalkeeper Marko Ilich for a 1-0 edge. It was Sarcevic's fifth of the season.
