The Granary Kitchen RDP Athlete of the Week for November 22, 2021

Outside hitter Patrik Toze had a strong weekend on the court, helping the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings Volleyball team earn a pair of wins over the Olds College Broncos. The fifth-year led both teams with 13 kills on Friday, which helped the Kings pick up a three set road victory (25-22, 25-20 and 25-20). The Business Administration General student also added three digs in the match.

Then on Saturday, the talented student-athlete from Australia contributed 12 kills, four digs, three stuff blocks, two assists and one ace while hitting for 0.417 per cent efficiency in a four set home victory (23-25, 25-20, 25-22 and 25-9). Toze has had a good start to the season and has played a key role in the Kings improving their undefeated record to 4-0 and a first place ranking in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) South Division standings.
